Please join us in celebration of the largest and newest mural in the Lower Polk Community Benefit District!

Hemlock Alley between Polk & Larkin

Thursday, September 7th 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Join us in the unveiling of six large- scale murals by a diverse, talented group of local artists, unified around the theme:

San Francisco: Its History and its Diversity

This ambitious, large-scale mural project was initiated to activate the under-utilized Hemlock Alley, as part of a public/private partnership between Chevalier Partners, the Lower Polk Neighbors, the Lower Polk Community Benefit District, the San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development, and INTERSTICE Architects.

The unusually elongated building facade was split into six separated panels, allowing for each artist or artist team to contribute their unique talent and vision to our neighborhood.

Featuring the Artwork of:

Dray (Andre) Wilmore, Ali Futrell, Will Durkee & Marcus Lee, Marina Perez-Wong & Elaine Chu (Twin Walls), Mel Waters, Yukako Ezoe & Naoki Onodera (Bahama Kangaroo).

Come join us on Thursday, September 7th 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm for food, drinks, music, artists, and community. This is a free event.
