As you know, the Lower Polk is a vibrant urban gem right here in the middle of San Francisco. However, some of our smaller (and larger) merchants and businesses have expressed concern over displacement and related issues. If you are a small business / merchant, please attend one of these upcoming focus groups. Your input will help the City help you.

Here are the dates:

  • Business owners who have NOT received OEWD services before. Thursday, June 20th. 6pm-7pm.
  • Business owners who HAVE received OEWD services before. Wednesday, June 26th. 10am-11am.

  • Service providers and agencies who administer OEWD programs. Thursday, July 11th. 6pm-7pm.

The Office of Economic and Workforce Development is sponsoring four focus groups for local business owners to help us understand how to more effectively reach and serve local businesses and entrepreneurs. This is your chance to let the City know which services are most needed to help businesses.

Each focus group will be approximately one hour in length and take place at the San Francisco Public Library. If you are a business owner in San Francisco and interested in discussing how the City can help you, please RSVP to one of the focus groups.

If you can’t make it to one of the focus groups, please take one of the quick online surveys here:
